Buying Sold Out Tickets

It's a fact of life that many events get sold out within a few hours of going on sale. This results in a surplus of demand over supply so spare tickets will usually cost more than the face value. Many ticket sales are genuine and the tickets become available due to a family crisis, work commitments or alternative arangements. If possible it is better to grab these tickets than those from a scalper.

Most tickets should be available from people living close to you. So arrange to collect them personally if possibe. Don't rely on the postal service if it's only  afew days before the event.  Be aware of people selling tickets from out of state. Tickets for a New York Giants game or a concert In atlanta being sold by someone In L.A. is immediatly suspicious.

Although there are some agencies that specialise in sourcing sold out tickets we recommend using ebay as it's much easier to rectify any disputes and you can quickly check that a seller has good feedback. A lot of regulr sports fans will purchase a couple of extra tickets to help off set the cost of their tickets so you may find a seller who has got a great reputation for selling these tickets and who will arrange to meed you before the game.
